Description

  • Own the operational infrastructure that supports hiring, onboarding, project tracking, resourcing, support role development, and process improvement.
  • Build the layer between the COO and the four operating functions to reduce the COO’s day-to-day operational burden.
  • Manage multiple functions and teams simultaneously across People Ops, Project Management, Executive Support, and Operations Support.
  • Develop managers and create clear growth plans for team members.
  • Monitor and improve delivery execution so operational issues are identified and managed proactively.
  • Lead project management and operational workflows to improve service-level performance and execution consistency.
  • Systematize and refine business processes, SOPs, and workflows that the team actually uses.
  • Oversee the integration of the Transformation team under the operations function.
  • Help establish scalable hiring and onboarding systems with measurable outcomes.
  • Make operational decisions that do not require COO involvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience with direct management of multiple functions or teams.
  • Agency experience in a digital, creative, content, or marketing agency.
  • Proven ability to build and develop managers, not just manage individual contributors.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment with rapid headcount or revenue scaling.
  • Strong process design skills, including creating SOPs and workflows that are adopted by teams.
  • Fluency in project management best practices and operational infrastructure.
  • Experience working with remote-first, globally distributed teams.
  • Comfort using LLMs and AI tools in day-to-day work with sound judgment.
  • Background in digital marketing or a B2B content agency is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with EOR and contractor compliance tools or providers such as Deel, Remote, or Oyster is a strong asset.
  • Experience with AI enablement or process transformation initiatives is a strong asset.
  • Formal process improvement training or certification such as Lean or Six Sigma is a strong asset.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $110,000–$125,000 CAD for Canada / Band A hires, with equivalent local-market compensation for Band B hires.
  • 15–20% individual performance bonus tied to KPIs.
  • Company-wide profit sharing.
  • Variable compensation is not reduced by geography.
  • Global hiring with pay adjusted by role, level, and location.
