Description

  • Develop game features from prototype through live operations while maintaining quality and stability.
  • Design, implement, and support scalable CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.
  • Profile and analyze backend systems to identify and resolve complex bugs and performance issues.
  • Perform backend load testing to validate infrastructure scalability under peak player activity.
  • Collaborate with client-side engineers to create secure, server-authoritative gameplay systems.
  • Build and maintain DevOps workflows in a cloud-based environment, primarily on AWS.
  • Create clear technical documentation covering design decisions and system architecture.
  • Contribute to studio-wide engineering standards, code quality practices, and development guidelines.

Requirements

  • Extensive software engineering experience in the games industry or in large-scale, real-time, low-latency systems.
  • Hands-on experience developing backend services for real-time multiplayer Unity games or streaming solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience building multi-service backends using AWS cloud infrastructure and tools.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment and incorporating feedback to refine features.
  • Experience collaborating on cross-discipline teams with designers, artists, and other engineers.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings.
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics, systems design, and how technical decisions affect player experience.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • C# and .NET experience is strongly preferred.
