Description

  • Design, build, and maintain reusable AI capabilities, including models, tools, APIs, and platforms.
  • Develop and maintain the internal MCP server that securely exposes Forter’s data stores to AI agents.
  • Create and implement AI evaluation frameworks and guardrails to improve reliability, performance, and safety.
  • Build and optimize RAG systems and other AI-driven workflows.
  • Establish sustainable AI engineering practices and deepen internal AI expertise.
  • Promote AI readiness and track adoption across the company.
  • Own projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to development, deployment, and operations.
  • Act as an AI engineering consultant and advocate for other teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate AI adoption and productization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend and server-side development experience building complex, highly scalable systems.
  • Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python.
  • Strong product management skills and the ability to gather and refine requirements from non-technical internal users.
  • Some DevOps experience and willingness to develop, deploy, and run projects end-to-end.
  • Solid understanding of GenAI, LLMs, and foundation models.
  • Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
  • Experience building AI-driven workflows, agentic frameworks, evals, RAGs, MCPs, and related tools.
  • Experience working with public clouds such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
