Description

Design, build, and maintain reusable AI capabilities, including models, tools, APIs, and platforms.
Develop and maintain the internal MCP server that securely exposes Forter’s data stores to AI agents.
Create and implement AI evaluation frameworks and guardrails to improve reliability, performance, and safety.
Build and optimize RAG systems and other AI-driven workflows.
Establish sustainable AI engineering practices and deepen internal AI expertise.
Promote AI readiness and track adoption across the company.
Own projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to development, deployment, and operations.
Act as an AI engineering consultant and advocate for other teams.
Partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate AI adoption and productization.

Requirements

5+ years of backend and server-side development experience building complex, highly scalable systems.
Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python.
Strong product management skills and the ability to gather and refine requirements from non-technical internal users.
Some DevOps experience and willingness to develop, deploy, and run projects end-to-end.
Solid understanding of GenAI, LLMs, and foundation models.
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
Experience building AI-driven workflows, agentic frameworks, evals, RAGs, MCPs, and related tools.
Experience working with public clouds such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
