Description

  • Lead and develop the Patient Care Coordination team through coaching, training, feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the quality, efficiency, and compliance of patient support functions across daily operations.
  • Manage patient escalations related to prescriptions, billing, scheduling, and other complex issues.
  • Ensure high-quality patient communication by reviewing interactions, coaching on trends, and maintaining consistency and empathy.
  • Partner with Product and Learning and Development teams to create training materials and team communications.
  • Oversee core patient care coordination tasks, including message triage, patient engagement, scheduling, and care team communication.
  • Support clinicians with medical assisting tasks such as pre-visit lab orders, prescription-related work, medication refills, and EHR documentation.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and patient communication campaigns to improve operations and patient experience.
  • Monitor KPIs, message response times, and task completion times, and implement process improvements.
  • Provide feedback to Product, Engineering, and Marketing to advocate for system and workflow enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Active Medical Assistant Certificate.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced digital health or telehealth company.
  • Proven experience managing and developing teams to provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong understanding of medical practice operations and professionalism standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong judgment, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, and the ability to adapt to custom-built IT systems.
  • Experience managing patient escalations and resolving complex issues.
  • Experience analyzing data and trends to drive operational improvements.
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule starting no earlier than 10:00 AM EST / 7:00 AM PST.
