Description

  • Oversee the daily operations of the card services function supporting debit card administration and dispute activities.
  • Manage a blended team handling card issuance, replacement, reissuance, and dispute processing.
  • Ensure workflows are executed accurately and efficiently in line with SLAs and internal controls.
  • Serve as the operational subject matter expert for debit card services and provide escalation support.
  • Oversee debit card administration processes including card ordering, replacements, inventory management, and program maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain controls for card inventory forecasting, tracking, and shrinkage prevention.
  • Monitor and report on debit card program performance metrics and customer impact trends.
  • Lead end-to-end debit card dispute processing, including chargebacks through the third-party processor.
  • Ensure Regulation E compliance, including investigation timelines, provisional credit, and final resolution standards.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, Fraud, Product, and third-party providers to maintain operational integrity and readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial institution operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Experience in debit card services operations, including card administration and servicing activities.
  • Experience in debit card dispute processing, including chargebacks and Reg E investigations.
  • Strong understanding of card network rules, including Mastercard.
  • Experience partnering with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and third-party vendors in a regulated banking environment.
  • Experience working with Marqeta debit card products preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
