Description

  • Create and oversee integration plans for firms joining Focus’s unified investment platform.
  • Develop a deep understanding of legacy firms’ investment portfolios and proprietary strategies.
  • Work with legacy firms to select approved investment platform options for future client portfolios.
  • Partner with the portfolio operations team to integrate targets into centralized portfolio management.
  • Oversee the gradual migration from legacy positions into recommended strategies while considering tax consequences.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to legacy firm leadership and investment teams throughout the integration process.
  • Educate legacy firm advisors on the investment platform and help build confidence in client and prospect conversations.
  • Coordinate integration sequencing and schedules with integration leadership and other functional teams.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders during firm integrations.
  • Build buy-in with legacy leadership and advisory teams to support high client retention and scalable execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Math, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of work experience in investment-related, communications, or technical roles.
  • Experience with trading and rebalancing on the investment side for integration work.
  • Broad knowledge of public and private investment strategies.
  • Experience working with portfolio models and portfolio rebalancing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through multi-phase projects to completion.
  • Experience with M&A investment integration.
  • Strong ability to build trust and credibility with business leaders and advisors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and advisors in group and one-on-one settings.
  • Experience planning projects or initiatives, including resource loading and scheduling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple demands, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, high ethics, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, make effective decisions, and work independently.

Benefits

  • Annualized base pay range of $240,000 to $260,000 per year.
  • Annual cash bonus eligibility.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Exempt position.
