Description

Design, develop, and operate critical backend services in the User Management domain.
Ensure secure integration with the company’s Keycloak instance.
Work hands-on across a mostly JVM-based stack, including Kotlin and Micronaut, with supporting Python and Go components.
Follow modern engineering practices such as API-first design, code reviews, automated testing, and exploratory testing in MR environments.
Own technical topics, drive important technical decisions, and align with other teams in the backend guild.
Deploy and monitor services using Kubernetes, Helm, Grafana, Sentry, and Mixpanel.
Take responsibility for mission-critical production systems and deliver complex technical projects.
Collaborate effectively within an international agile team.
Work with SRE support for operational reliability and on-call coverage.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in backend or full-stack development.
Very good knowledge of Kotlin/Java and relevant frameworks such as Micronaut or Spring.
Hands-on experience deploying and running applications in production environments, including cloud or containerized systems.
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for technical topics.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience with SaaS environments (nice to have).
Familiarity with PostgreSQL (nice to have).
Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka (nice to have).
Proficiency in the JVM ecosystem.
Ability to work effectively in an international agile team.
