Description

  • Lead full-lifecycle data science projects from conceptualization through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
  • Uncover patterns in large datasets, predict trends, and optimize service delivery across the business.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, product development, and customer success teams to integrate machine learning capabilities.
  • Communicate complex data science concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Propose and lead new areas of research to drive continued innovation.
  • Develop simple, effective solutions when advanced models are not required.
  • Raise standards for operational excellence on the data science team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared learning.
  • Bring clarity and understanding to complex data science projects.
  • Support the team in shaping the data science tech stack as the organization grows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data science.
  • Experience creating impactful models and drawing insightful conclusions.
  • Proficiency with data science tools and libraries including scikit-learn, plotly, pandas, and numpy.
  • Strong statistical background, especially in time series analysis.
  • Experience implementing tests and upholding engineering standards in data science.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Growth mindset and openness to learning and deploying LLM technologies.
