Description

  • Build and maintain AppraisalPRO across the stack, including the Rails backend, APIs, dealer-facing web app, and React Native mobile app.
  • Own key architectural decisions and help set the technical direction of the platform.
  • Contribute to the API and SDK that power the developer platform.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand dealer needs and translate workflows into product features.
  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain backend and frontend features.
  • Work closely with product to define features, feasibility, and timelines.
  • Write and maintain reliable Ruby and JavaScript/TypeScript code.
  • Create integrations with third-party APIs and services.
  • Take features from idea to production with autonomy and ownership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building production web applications with Ruby on Rails and RSpec.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React; React Native is used.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Comfort using AI coding tools to work efficiently.
  • React Native or mobile development experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to GraphQL is preferred.
  • B2B SaaS product experience is preferred.
  • Ability to ask the right questions about complicated tasks.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
  • Remote candidate based anywhere in the United States.
  • Occasional travel may be required, including to the Atlanta office.
