Description

  • Build and maintain analytical infrastructure to monitor portfolio performance, including KPI dashboards, recurring reporting, and self-serve tools.
  • Derive insights from portfolio data, evaluate risk trend changes, and connect findings to business context, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Develop pricing models to evaluate and price bulk portfolios for purchase.
  • Analyze the impact of macroeconomic changes on the portfolio and make business recommendations.
  • Develop metrics to monitor and improve funder and underwriter effectiveness across key credit dimensions.
  • Formulate actions to reduce delinquency rates, losses, and roll-rates.
  • Design and improve collection strategies to increase collector efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and support operational process improvements by standardizing and automating reporting and data quality monitoring.
  • Partner with Servicing Operations, Technology, Risk, and Data Engineering teams on analytics, underwriting models, AI-ready datasets, and innovation initiatives.
  • Support managers and directors with ad hoc analyses and present executive-ready narratives with recommended actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science, or statistical modeling.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong proficiency with BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear and concise communication.
  • Strong oral communication skills and experience presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience translating a business problem into a structured analysis.
  • Experience analyzing large and complex data sets.
  • Experience in business analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with data scripting languages such as Python, SAS, or R.
  • Master’s degree in a highly quantitative discipline such as Statistics is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a consulting capacity is preferred.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS is preferred.
  • Experience with machine learning principles such as A/B testing, association analysis, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, principal component analysis, and regression is preferred.
