Description

  • Lead data projects from scoping through delivery, with clear prioritisation and timely execution.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and turn them into high-impact data products.
  • Create Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that provide actionable business insights.
  • Build, maintain, and optimise end-to-end data pipelines and systems for collecting, combining, processing, and delivering data.
  • Own best practice across data architecture, modelling, governance, and documentation.
  • Act as the internal subject-matter expert for Power BI and data warehousing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, data accessibility, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the wider organisation where needed.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of professional experience in data analytics, BI, engineering, or similar hybrid roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and visualisation best practices.
  • Experience designing and maintaining data warehouse structures and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and setting standards across data processes.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience as a data generalist in a startup or scaleup is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud data tools such as Amazon Redshift, Azure, and SQL-based warehouses is preferred.
  • Knowledge of shares, equity, or financial data models is preferred.
  • Experience working in a distributed or remote team is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI-powered data tooling and automation is preferred.
  • Must be primarily India-based and eligible to work in India.
  • Must be available during UK office hours, 09:00 AM to 17:30 PM UK time (01:30 PM to 10:00 PM IST).
