Description

  • Identify the best-known address to locate a customer or their collateral.
  • Determine whether a customer has special status such as bankruptcy or active-duty military.
  • Generate leads and contacts for recovery agents using available sources.
  • Communicate regularly with recovery agents by phone, email, and recovery systems.
  • Confirm lienholder status for pursued collateral.
  • Review credit applications and internal documents to help determine location.
  • Assign and reassign repossession orders after validating address, employment, and other leads.
  • Use independent judgment to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Report recovery data trends to support the company’s proprietary underwriting model.
  • Follow up with vendors to verify recovery requirements and complete administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1+ years of recent skip tracing experience in auto recovery.
  • Banking or collections experience.
  • Experience in the auto finance field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated history of career stability.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm EST.
  • Must be able to follow compliance requirements and maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of repossessions and recovery processes preferred.
