Description

  • Perform in-depth data analyses to uncover operational patterns, capacity dynamics, and resource utilization trends.
  • Generate actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and support decision-making.
  • Build proof-of-concepts for innovative operational strategies and validate their impact on performance metrics.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced forecasting and optimization models using machine learning and operations research techniques.
  • Shape and refine operational strategy to align with growth targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with data, tech, and operations stakeholders in a cross-functional setting.
  • Translate analytical findings into recommendations for the operations team.
  • Validate the impact of operational strategies and quantify business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics; PhD is a plus.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in operations-heavy environments, preferably logistics, supply chain, mobility, or e-commerce fulfillment.
  • Proven experience in data and time-series analysis, statistical modeling, and building forecasting and optimization models from scratch.
  • Experience building and deploying capacity planning, resource allocation, or logistics optimization solutions end-to-end.
  • Proven experience integrating AI tools such as Claude or Cursor into daily analytics workflows.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, and GCP.
  • Experience with agentic development.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences and C-level leaders.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
