Description

  • Define the mission, vision, strategy, and roadmap for Bot Detection as a distinct product line.
  • Own the evolution of detection capabilities, taxonomy, and intent classification across emerging automation threats.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science to establish evaluation methods, quality targets, and iteration loops for detection performance.
  • Drive strategy for Automation Intelligence APIs and edge/server-side automation detection without requiring a browser JS agent.
  • Define and ship customer-facing experiences across dashboards, APIs, schemas, and developer workflows.
  • Own packaging and plan-gating assumptions for self-serve and enterprise offerings.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing on positioning, beta programs, customer feedback, and launch enablement.
  • Lead cross-functional execution as the single-threaded owner across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, GTM, and Customer Success.
  • Run quarterly planning, manage dependencies, set milestones, and communicate tradeoffs across teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience at, or deep familiarity with, bot management, fraud, or abuse platforms such as Cloudflare, Akamai, HUMAN, Arkose Labs, DataDome, PerimeterX, or Sift.
  • Experience operating with high ownership and strong cross-functional alignment, prioritization, and execution.
  • Ability to translate customer problems into roadmap decisions and product requirements.
  • Strong data-informed decision-making skills, including defining success metrics and working with Product Analytics or Data Science.
  • Comfort with detection measurement and iteration, including precision/recall tradeoffs, false positive/false negative analysis, and coverage targets.
  • Familiarity with privacy and regulatory constraints such as GDPR and CCPA as applied to detection signals.
  • Deep understanding of web technologies and automation techniques, including browser and API automation, is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of network and IP intelligence, including residential proxies and modern spoofing and tampering techniques, is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with detection signal pipelines, including client-side instrumentation, server-side ingestion, feature engineering, latency, scale, and robustness, is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with build-versus-buy evaluations in security or detection domains, or with heuristic plus ML product approaches, is strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work from home in the candidate’s location, as Fingerprint does not sponsor visas.
  • Remote-friendly for candidates in the Americas, with Central European time zones preferred.
