Description

  • Own platform reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Build AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
  • Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
  • Lead incident response and drive continuous reliability improvements.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation.
  • Work as an embedded partner on cross-functional system ownership.
  • Help build out autonomous systems that support internet-scale growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Infrastructure, or Operations.
  • 4+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience.
  • Strong AWS experience with EC2, ECS/EKS, VPC, Route 53, IAM, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
  • Expertise with Terraform, CI/CD, observability, automation, and scripting.
  • Proficiency with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience supporting highly available, low-latency production systems.
  • Experience with Amazon Connect, Twilio, SIP/RTP, or other VoIP platforms (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of voice quality metrics such as MOS, jitter, and packet loss (nice to have).
  • Experience with SOC 2, HIPAA, or FedRAMP environments (nice to have).
  • Azure or GCP exposure (nice to have).
