Description

  • Scope and conduct focused qualitative and quantitative research studies in one- to two-week sprints.
  • Translate findings into actionable product recommendations and help teams implement them.
  • Present research-backed recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Rotate across product areas, quickly building context, credibility, and relationships.
  • Participate in product usage, design reviews, and decision-making beyond individual studies.
  • Clarify ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions, and adapt research scope and methods as needed.
  • Experiment with tools, templates, AI, and workflows to improve research speed, quality, and scale.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of research experience in high-growth product organizations, UX/design agencies, or strategic consultancies focused on digital experiences.
  • Proficiency in mixed-methods research, including interviews, surveys, and data analysis.
  • Strong product judgment and experience making recommendations that shaped products.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, including a track record of gaining executive buy-in.
  • Experience delivering clear recommendations through one- to two-week research sprints.
  • Ability to work flexibly amid changing priorities and tight timelines while maintaining research rigor.
  • Active use of AI tools to improve research speed, quality, or scale.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping, preferably with Figma tools (preferred).
  • Experience researching design tools, developer tools, creative software, or other products used to build things (preferred).
  • Background in product design, product management, or engineering, and experience combining product analytics with qualitative research (preferred).
