Description

  • Define and execute the Americas logistics and warehousing strategy in alignment with the global supply chain vision.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of logistics managers, warehouse supervisors, and operations analysts.
  • Oversee daily distribution center operations, including receiving, inventory management, pick/pack/ship, and returns processing.
  • Drive performance across key warehouse and fulfillment KPIs, including accuracy, productivity, cycle time, and turnover.
  • Lead facility rationalization, relocation, expansion, and new distribution center projects as needed.
  • Negotiate and manage parcel, LTL, FTL, and international freight carrier relationships.
  • Design and optimize transportation lanes, last-mile delivery, and freight audit, compliance, and claims processes.
  • Own end-to-end import operations and ensure compliance with customs, trade, and import/export regulations.
  • Partner with global supply regions to improve outbound logistics capabilities and share best practices.
  • Own the Americas logistics P&L and build reporting frameworks, dashboards, and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive supply chain, logistics, or warehousing leadership experience.
  • 5+ years in a VP-level or equivalent senior executive role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site distribution center networks at scale.
  • Expertise with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
  • Experience in B2B industrial, manufacturing, or e-commerce fulfillment environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams across multiple geographies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently, approximately 25–40%, across the United States and Mexico.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).
  • APICS CSCP, CLTD, or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Experience with high-SKU-count catalog businesses, including 100K+ active SKUs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with configure-to-order or just-in-time business models (preferred).
  • Deep experience in international trade compliance, import operations, and customs management across multiple origin countries (preferred).
  • Experience applying AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics in logistics or supply chain operations (preferred).
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent process improvement credentials (preferred).
  • Experience deploying automation, robotics, or goods-to-person systems (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary of $200,000–$255,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Variable compensation potential of $30,000–$55,000.
