Description

  • Build highly interactive single-page React applications that can scale with growing usage and complexity.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize deployments, infrastructure, reliability, and scalability at scale.
  • Manage always-available infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and platform tooling to reduce downtime and improve service manageability.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering teams to architect and develop infrastructure and automated deployments for cloud-native SaaS applications.
  • Research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to improve platform functionality and performance.
  • Partner with product peers to define and execute the roadmap and address critical technical challenges.
  • Design and build tools for Azure and AWS cloud environments using Zero-Trust security, container orchestration, and distributed microservice scaling.
  • Use infrastructure as code and CI/CD automation to support stable and efficient software delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering and DevOps.
  • Significant hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • Demonstrable expertise managing complex infrastructure for high-scale, cloud-based systems.
  • Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud, with mastery of at least one cloud provider.
  • Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform.
  • Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, HELM, and Istio.
  • Solid expertise with CI/CD and workflow automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Ansible, Jenkins, BitBucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps, and serverless architectures.
  • Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, and RabbitMQ.
  • Experience developing and supporting server-side rendered applications using Node.js and Python.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Expertise in monitoring, logging, observability, troubleshooting, and incident response practices.
  • Familiarity with generative AI and prompt engineering for DevOps automation is a plus.
  • Experience in data presentation and analytics is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical training and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, growth-minded startup environment and adapt to evolving requirements.
  • Position open to current residents of California only.

  • Salary range of $162,000 to $191,000 per year.
