Description

  • Translate ambiguous business problems into enterprise AI architectures with cost, latency, and risk trade-off analyses.
  • Design and build scalable backend systems, data pipelines, APIs, LLM integrations, agentic workflows, and RAG applications.
  • Implement multi-agent orchestration and advanced retrieval using vector databases and hybrid search.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-native AI applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD across major cloud platforms or Databricks.
  • Implement LLM telemetry, cost tracking, security guardrails, and systematic evaluation frameworks.
  • Optimize prompts, inference latency, caching, quantization, and operating costs.
  • Act as the technical authority in client environments, aligning stakeholders and managing technical risks.
  • Establish engineering standards and mentor client technical teams toward operational autonomy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Software or ML Engineering experience, including 3+ years building production GenAI/LLM applications and 2+ years in customer-facing or forward-deployed roles.
  • Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, vector databases, RAG, agents, and tool use.
  • Expertise building backend microservices and APIs with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience deploying cloud-native applications on AWS, GCP, Azure, or Databricks.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MLflow, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with LLM telemetry, cost tracking, security guardrails, and LLM-as-a-judge evaluation.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and communicate technical trade-offs to executive stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English with experience independently driving high-stakes engagements.
