Description

  • Provide first-line technical support to end users for hardware, software, and access issues.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical problems and escalate more complex incidents to senior engineers.
  • Assist with user account setup and maintenance, including onboarding, offboarding, password resets, and access requests.
  • Support daily IT operations to ensure systems and services run smoothly.
  • Track and manage support requests in Jira while following team processes and SLAs.
  • Set up laptops and workstations for new employees.
  • Perform basic Microsoft 365 administration tasks, including email, Teams, and SharePoint support.
  • Gain exposure to and assist with IT infrastructure areas such as Windows Server, virtualization, networking, firewalls, Azure, Entra, and Microsoft tools.
  • Carry out routine checks, updates, and documentation of IT systems.
  • Learn and support backup processes and monitoring under supervision.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external vendors as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or final-year student status.
  • 0–2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role; internships count.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals such as IP and DNS.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills across systems, cloud, and security.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow processes and document work clearly.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Exposure to Active Directory or user management concepts is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure is preferred.
  • Awareness of IT security best practices is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft or Cisco certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to work occasionally from the Athens (Petralona) office when required.
