Description

  • Tackle ambiguous, cross-system problems across fulfillment and servicing workflows.
  • Own large features end to end from design through deployment, release, and monitoring.
  • Deliver scalable, event-driven, AI-native applications that improve the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with platform teams to improve overall system architecture.
  • Own the design, implementation, quality, and safety of AI and agentic features in production systems.
  • Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, design collaboration, and coaching.
  • Drive adoption of AI developer tooling and establish practices that make it effective.
  • Advocate for proactive technical investments such as refactors, observability, upgrades, and technology adoption.
  • Communicate across product, design, solutions, and operations to align outcomes with business goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of full-stack experience.
  • Experience building distributed, cloud-native applications with hands-on serverless experience.
  • Experience shipping AI/LLM features to production.
  • Strong instincts for API design and backwards compatibility, especially for money movement or fulfillment event workflows.
  • Track record of owning large, ambiguous, cross-system initiatives end to end.
  • Ability to influence beyond your team by aligning groups, simplifying complex ideas for leadership, and pushing back with data.
  • Experience mentoring across levels and driving team-wide improvements that last beyond a single project.
  • Strong data modeling and context engineering skills for application quality and agentic decisioning.
  • Fluency with advanced AI developer tooling and a habit of helping teammates adopt it.
  • Exceptional communication with product, business stakeholders, designers, support, and engineers.
  • Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
