Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native microservices using Java and Quarkus.
  • Build and support event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, and RabbitMQ.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure application quality.
  • Design and optimize solutions using relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
  • Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and ECS.
  • Implement observability practices to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Design scalable solutions using auto-scaling, load balancing, clustering, and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Quarkus for building scalable, cloud-native microservices.
  • Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience working with containerized environments including Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, and ECS.
  • Understanding of observability practices and monitoring strategies.
  • Solid understanding of scalability concepts including auto-scaling, load balancing, clustering, and disaster recovery.
  • Familiarity with software engineering principles such as SOLID, Clean Code, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate English.
  • Nice to have: experience with Azure or GCP.
  • Nice to have: experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of Python, Kotlin, or Golang.
  • Nice to have: experience in financial services, including banking, fintech, card companies, or insurance.
