Description

  • Lead pre-sales technical discovery with sales teams to identify client needs and develop solution designs and proposals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Design and present infrastructure, data, AI, cloud, and hybrid architectures.
  • Develop virtualization and containerization strategies for modernization and multi-cloud deployments.
  • Integrate data management, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities into enterprise platforms.
  • Lead customer presentations and demonstrations that communicate solution value.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software technologies, using vendor relationships as appropriate.
  • Support proposal development, RFP responses, and architecture-based pricing strategies.
  • Provide technical assurance during implementation and handoff to delivery teams.
  • Create architecture documentation, high-level designs, and bills of materials.
  • Monitor emerging infrastructure, cloud, data, and AI technologies to inform client recommendations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, or platform engineering.
  • Experience in pre-sales architecture or technical consulting within a systems integrator or vendor environment.
  • Expertise in on-premises compute, storage, and networking architecture.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Experience integrating data platforms, analytics tools, and AI/ML frameworks into enterprise systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, customer engagement, and executive-influence skills.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, compliance, and solution governance.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware Certified Design Expert, or Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
