Description

Design automated tests for large-scale web-based applications.
Develop and maintain automated tests in close collaboration with the development team.
Automate test execution and report results to the development team.
Contribute to the improvement of testing procedures and methodologies.
Work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also handling tasks independently.

Requirements

BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
At least 2 years of experience in automation testing.
Fluency in German at C1 level or higher is mandatory.
Fluency in English is required.
Knowledge of software life cycle (SLC), continuous integration (CI), and quality assurance (QA) methodologies/strategies.
Programming experience, preferably with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
SQL scripting experience.
Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
E2E testing experience with a test automation framework such as Cypress or WebdriverIO is preferred.
Mobile testing experience with Appium is preferred.
Basic knowledge of frontend unit testing is preferred.
Basic knowledge of backend unit and integration testing, such as JUnit or TestNG, is preferred.
Experience with mocking tools such as Mockito or WireMock is preferred.
Experience with API testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman, or Rest Assured is preferred.
Experience with load and stress testing tools such as JMeter is preferred.
Docker experience is preferred.
Experience with CI pipelines executed in Jenkins slaves is preferred.
