Description

Manage and implement EC-funded IT projects.
Prepare project document deliverables and reports for R&D and business development activities, including requirements, conceptual models, specifications, and implementation and integration plans.
Design, develop, and document new manufacturing technologies and solutions, including AI for manufacturing, green production lines, and personalized production.
Design and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies for next-generation intelligent production lines.
Support projects funded by the European Commission and national research frameworks.
Collaborate with technical teams on software-focused manufacturing, robotics, IoT, data, and AI initiatives.
Contribute to the development and integration of solutions for industrial and research-oriented use cases.

Requirements

University degree in Computer Science with a background in Robotics, Data, and AI engineering, preferably with a PhD-level postgraduate qualification focused on software development.
At least 4 years of experience working directly with technical teams with a proven track record.
Ideally 2 years of experience in national or European research programs in ICT.
Experience in software design and development, software development lifecycle, and ICT project management.
Experience in production engineering, robotic applications, IoT, or AI for manufacturing, especially in industrial and manufacturing contexts.
Hands-on knowledge of robotics and AI open-source libraries such as ROS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras is preferred.
Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and analytical skills with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment and take initiative, flexibility, and responsibility.
Experience in designing H2020 or Horizon Europe proposals, or coordinating/implementing related projects, is an advantage.
