Description

  • Manage and implement EC-funded IT projects.
  • Prepare project document deliverables and reports for R&D and business development activities, including requirements, conceptual models, specifications, and implementation and integration plans.
  • Design, develop, and document new manufacturing technologies and solutions, including AI for manufacturing, green production lines, and personalized production.
  • Design and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies for next-generation intelligent production lines.
  • Support projects funded by the European Commission and national research frameworks.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on software-focused manufacturing, robotics, IoT, data, and AI initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and integration of solutions for industrial and research-oriented use cases.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science with a background in Robotics, Data, and AI engineering, preferably with a PhD-level postgraduate qualification focused on software development.
  • At least 4 years of experience working directly with technical teams with a proven track record.
  • Ideally 2 years of experience in national or European research programs in ICT.
  • Experience in software design and development, software development lifecycle, and ICT project management.
  • Experience in production engineering, robotic applications, IoT, or AI for manufacturing, especially in industrial and manufacturing contexts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of robotics and AI open-source libraries such as ROS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras is preferred.
  • Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and analytical skills with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment and take initiative, flexibility, and responsibility.
  • Experience in designing H2020 or Horizon Europe proposals, or coordinating/implementing related projects, is an advantage.
