Description

  • Lead the end-to-end development of life insurance products, including Whole Life, Permanent Life, Term, Indexed Universal Life, Final Expense, Disability Insurance, and riders.
  • Collaborate with carrier partners to implement new products and integrate them into the broader product ecosystem.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, internal stakeholders, and third parties on policy administration systems and their role in the life insurance lifecycle.
  • Integrate policy administration systems and other carrier systems to support product implementation, data flow, and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage ACORD standards to support standardized insurance data exchange and compliance across systems.
  • Analyze new product opportunities and insurance distribution channels to identify offerings that meet customer needs and deliver business value.
  • Contribute to the development and integration of eApplication systems to simplify the application process and improve the customer experience.
  • Support policy contract creation systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant policy document generation.
  • Create a clear medium- and long-term vision for specific product areas.
  • Run product discovery efforts and use experiments to validate hypotheses quickly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of launching life insurance products.
  • Strong knowledge of the full life insurance lifecycle, including product design, distribution, underwriting, purchase, policy issuance, and administration.
  • Experience with policy administration systems and carrier system integrations.
  • Experience with ACORD standards for standardized insurance data exchange and alignment.
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining eApplication systems.
  • Proficiency with policy contract creation systems.
  • Experience with life insurance illustration platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate product opportunities and distribution channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale and optimize products to improve usage and customer satisfaction.
  • Growth mindset with a focus on experimentation, data analysis, and results.
  • Strong understanding of current product best practices and a forward-looking perspective on product development.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $126,000 - $222,000 annually.
  • Remote-friendly role (#LI-Remote).
