Description

  • Collaborate with team members and clients to support web application and data visualization development.
  • Gather and document business requirements and processes for product design and planning.
  • Complete assigned work within an agile development framework and support development sprints.
  • Track project progress and maintain technical documentation using Jira, Confluence, and similar tools.
  • Create test plans and test cases.
  • Perform manual software testing and execute automated test cases.
  • Analyze, summarize, and interpret environmental data and scientific results.
  • Participate in agile or Scrum ceremonies and client status meetings.
  • Develop familiarity with socioeconomic and environmental datasets and federal environmental programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, health or environmental science, mathematics, science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to pass a public trust-level background investigation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks to meet project demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Certified ScrumMaster or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience writing automated test cases with Selenium, SoapUI, or similar tools preferred.
  • Experience with Qlik, Tableau, or other data visualization software preferred.
