Description

  • Act as trusted legal counsel to contract, commercial, technology, and HR teams, providing pragmatic business-oriented legal advice.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with counterparties across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and negotiate term sheets and draft final agreements based on agreed commercial terms.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from drafting and internal approval through closing.
  • Document all negotiation stages and maintain contract records accurately.
  • Guide internal teams on standard form documents and templates and help update and develop them.
  • Maintain and organize the contract repository, power of attorney database, and project workspaces such as Notion and Confluence.
  • Prepare management reports on contract activity, negotiation progress, and project status.
  • Perform quality control reviews of Legal and Compliance documentation.
  • Support other legal teams as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law; a Master's degree in Law or a related field is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a contract department, corporate secretarial function, in-house legal role, or similar position.
  • Experience managing multiple jurisdictions, preferably in a reputable international company or international law firm.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and legal/regulatory frameworks across common law and continental law jurisdictions.
  • Excellent contract drafting skills and the ability to write effective AI prompts.
  • Ability to identify legal and business risks and propose practical solutions aligned with business goals and market practice.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach, dedication to work, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Advanced English; fluent Russian is a plus.
