Description

  • Advise on sweepstakes compliance, gaming regulations, and promotional law across operating jurisdictions.
  • Partner with the Head of Legal to build and scale the legal function.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, vendor, licensing, and partnership agreements.
  • Provide practical guidance on complex gaming-law issues and business risk.
  • Advise on employment-law matters and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
  • Monitor and interpret state and federal gaming, sweepstakes, and consumer-protection regulations.
  • Manage outside counsel and regulator relationships, and independently lead selected legal matters.
  • Support corporate governance, risk management, and day-to-day business operations.
  • Review marketing, advertising, and promotional materials for legal compliance.
  • Develop internal legal processes, templates, and playbooks.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of general business-law experience, with meaningful experience in gaming, sweepstakes, media, entertainment, or technology startups.
  • Direct iGaming and/or sweepstakes-law experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience at a large law firm and/or in-house at a high-growth company.
  • Strong contract negotiation, regulatory-compliance, and risk-management experience.
  • Business-first approach and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Strategic legal partner and skilled negotiator; litigation or trial experience is not required.
  • Highly independent and capable of owning diverse legal matters with minimal oversight.
  • Interest in flexible, remote work and growing into broader legal leadership.
