Description

  • Deliver high-quality network and systems support within a Managed Services Center.
  • Provide full lifecycle systems support, including design, implementation, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of complex client issues.
  • Own issues end-to-end until successful resolution is achieved.
  • Maintain advanced, current technical expertise in networking technologies.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Lead and manage assigned technical projects.
  • Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve common and highly complex network and systems problems.

Requirements

  • Active Cisco CCNP Service Provider certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a service provider network role.
  • Strong knowledge of optics.
  • Solid expertise with Juniper platforms in service provider environments.
  • Hands-on proficiency with NCS platforms, including Cisco, Juniper, and similar systems.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting complex network issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of VRF technology.
  • In-depth understanding of IS-IS, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS routing protocols.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN, cloud networking, and network security concepts.
  • Experience working with Cisco ASR routers.
  • Background using IT service management tools, with ServiceNow preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
