Description

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for backend software.
  • Implement automated testing strategies and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Document test progress, issues, test cases, scripts, and processes in Jira.
  • Communicate testing status and issues with team members via Microsoft Teams.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate scalability and robustness.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in both automated and manual testing environments.
  • Validate backend data and relationships using SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Analyze and report on testing metrics in Excel using advanced functions.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results on time.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automated testing of backend systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, and JMeter.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and automated testing best practices.
  • Experience using Jira for documentation and issue tracking.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
  • Experience using Excel for reporting, including advanced functions.
  • Experience using SQL Server Management Studio for backend data validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site or be located in El Salvador.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and related testing services (preferred).
  • Familiarity with manual testing (preferred).
  • ISTQB certification (preferred).
