Description

  • Create, modify, and maintain security access for internal and external user IDs and mainframe security rules.
  • Administer RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret security controls for mainframe system access.
  • Review security policies, procedures, standards, and baselines to support compliance and secure operations.
  • Recommend and coordinate security remediation plans involving technology and procedural changes.
  • Monitor system security policies and investigate violations and incidents.
  • Perform and review daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports.
  • Liaise with business areas and technical support teams to resolve security issues.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and deliver presentations to customers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the environment for adherence to security standards.

Requirements

  • 5 to 6 years of experience in mainframe security packages, especially RACF and ACF2.
  • Hands-on administration of RACF and ACF2 login IDs, datasets, and resource rules.
  • Hands-on experience with mainframe digital certificates.
  • Basic knowledge of security and good security best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of TSO, JCL, IBM utilities, JES2, and ISPF.
  • Experience with CICS is preferred.
  • Experience using Vanguard security products is desired.
  • Some MVS experience is a plus.
  • ACF2, Top Secret, and iSeries security knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, or ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be available 24x7.
  • Rotational shift availability: 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM and 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM.
