Description

  • Own discipline-specific deliverables and support the delivery of small projects with increasing independence.
  • Prepare coordinated designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical inputs.
  • Collaborate with mentors, senior engineers, project leads, clients, and design partners to maintain project alignment.
  • Participate in project meetings, programming sessions, coordination discussions, site walks, and construction support activities.
  • Identify coordination issues, validate assumptions, and communicate risks, decisions, and next steps proactively.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and update tools such as GitHub, Design Decision Logs, Asana, and Callback One.
  • Support pursuits and proposal coordination by preparing discipline inputs, early fee assumptions, and related materials.
  • Contribute to workflow and documentation improvements, including shared standards, tools, and lessons learned.
  • Provide informal support to designers and early-career team members through markups, clarification, and documentation guidance.
  • Complete accurate daily time and expense entries and manage workload across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent technical or field experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, coordinated modeling, and construction documentation across multiple projects.
  • Exposure to coordination processes or field-related activities.
  • Experience delivering technology system designs in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security disciplines (preferred).
  • Experience supporting engineering tasks such as calculations, device layouts, and specification development (preferred).
  • Experience leading BIM coordination efforts, including clash detection, model review, and cross-discipline resolution (preferred).
  • Ability to maintain model health at a senior production level, including workset management, view templates, warning resolution, and model cleanup (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications such as EIT, CDT, PSP/CPP (Security), or PE are preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage several projects and coordinate effectively.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
