Description

  • Provide hands-on and remote support for users of computers and software systems.
  • Assist with computer setups, upgrades, software operation, and maintenance.
  • Respond to user inquiries and resolve desktop issues quickly and clearly.
  • Support Windows and Apple Mac desktops, laptops, related software, and peripherals.
  • Manage ticket SLA commitments and drive first call resolution.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems on desktops and laptops.
  • Provide application support on supported devices.
  • Support phones, network connectivity, and switch port-to-desk issues.
  • Cover conference room audio/video equipment, including projectors and video conferencing systems.
  • Test desktop images and packages when new software packages are released.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • IT industry certifications such as Okta, O365, or MCSE are a plus.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Apple Mac-based systems, related software, and peripherals.
  • Experience with hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobility devices, and conference room equipment.
  • Experience managing ticket SLAs and driving first call resolution.
  • Experience installing, upgrading, configuring, and troubleshooting operating systems and computer software.
  • Proficient knowledge of antivirus software.
  • Proficiency with Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
