Description

  • Support migration projects for servers, applications, and databases from on-premises or private cloud to AWS.
  • Participate in assessment, discovery, planning, cutover, and post-migration optimization activities.
  • Execute re-hosting and re-platforming work using AWS migration tools such as Application Migration Service, DMS, Migration Hub, and App2Container.
  • Deploy, configure, and validate AWS services and infrastructure components.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules and automation scripts.
  • Assist with quality and security checks using tools such as tflint, Checkov, and tfsec.
  • Support integration, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of AWS workloads.
  • Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and migration playbooks, and participate in client workshops.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technology consulting leadership roles.
  • 4+ years of experience in AWS technology planning and implementation, with a track record of leading large-scale AWS projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Working experience with core AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and basic ECS/EKS.
  • Understanding of AWS multi-account management, AWS Organizations, and Control Tower is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with at least one AWS migration tool, such as Application Migration Service, Database Migration Service (DMS), Migration Hub, or App2Container.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), or AWS serverless services like Lambda is a plus.
  • Understanding of AWS monitoring and security tools such as CloudWatch, Config, and GuardDuty, along with IAM least-privilege best practices.
  • AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer – Associate/Professional, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate certifications are preferred.
