Description

  • Define and design technical requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions to support sales goals.
  • Design solutions and proposals that meet customer needs and position Cambium as the preferred vendor.
  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, and webinars to channel partners and end customers.
  • Work with engineering resources to provide technical expertise and support integration into customer environments.
  • Capture product and feature requirements and route them to regional leadership or engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with local sales managers and RTM colleagues on partner training, customer workshops, and key projects.
  • Support partners with technical responses during the post-tender phase.
  • Develop and execute technical strategies independently with minimal direction.
  • Travel extensively across the region as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in field engineering and troubleshooting large, complex systems.
  • Strong communication skills for building relationships with sales, engineering, post-sales support, and technical customer contacts.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to create and deliver high-impact presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate with minimal input from managers.
  • Excellent knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless networks, site surveys, requirements gathering, and deployment challenges.
  • Deep understanding of wired IP networking, including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, and VLANs.
  • Understanding of wireless security methodologies, including 802.1x with RADIUS integration.
  • Experience leveraging relationships with internal business units and external partners to deliver solutions.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region.
