Description

  • Identify and cultivate prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and proactive outreach in a hunting-focused sales role.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to support satisfaction and renewals.
  • Consult with clients to understand their energy needs, risk tolerance, and applicable solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify sales opportunities.
  • Create and deliver executive-level sales presentations on energy products and services.
  • Address client concerns, negotiate terms, close sales, and achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with operations, management, and other internal teams to support customer service and business goals.
  • Use HubSpot and other CRM tools to track leads, manage accounts, and optimize the sales process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the energy industry, such as retail gas or electricity, sustainability, solar, or demand response, or in a readily transferable industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B outside sales.
  • Experience generating new business through prospecting, networking, and other channels.
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team-oriented sales process.
  • Demonstrated resilience, determination, ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively while independently driving sales initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must reside in NY, PA, MA, NJ, MD, CT, DE, RI, IL, TX, OH, or NH; California applicants should apply to the California posting.
