Description

  • Analyze security systems and controls to support audits, healthcare regulations, and corporate standards.
  • Coordinate security training and education for employees.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure security mechanisms meet compliance requirements.
  • Develop and track security project plans, roadmaps, schedules, meeting documentation, and follow-up actions.
  • Administer daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual security compliance activities and controls.
  • Conduct quarterly access reviews, document findings, and coordinate remediation of anomalies.
  • Manage third-party security assessment processes and respond to client security questionnaires.
  • Collect and oversee audit control evidence using established procedures.
  • Review security and compliance reports for violations and monitor emerging cyber threats.
  • Identify and implement security improvements, support physical security requirements, and advise management on risk reduction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–2 years of IT security and compliance experience preferred.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or Azure certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Cortex, Qualys, and Duo 2FA.
  • Experience with IT systems, networking, servers, and virtualized environments.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and HITRUST.
  • Strong project management, technical troubleshooting, writing, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to manage larger projects while balancing daily responsibilities; regular and predictable attendance required.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
