Description

Own preparation of board-ready financial materials, including narrative, framing, and strategic insights.
Build and maintain fully integrated three-statement financial models from the ground up.
Develop KPI-driven forecasting, budgeting, and rolling forecast models using operational assumptions.
Translate unit economics and operating drivers into financial projections and cash runway scenarios.
Analyze P&L performance, margin dynamics, revenue quality, refund trends, and customer acquisition efficiency.
Identify financial risks, inefficiencies, and capital misallocation, and recommend actionable solutions.
Guide pricing, hiring, GTM investment, and long-term planning decisions through financial analysis.
Support balance sheet forecasting, cash planning, and capital allocation analysis.
Track commissions and variable compensation, coordinating with payroll as needed.
Monitor financial controls, reporting integrity, and monthly/quarterly close accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
5 to 9 years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or a high-growth venture-/private equity-backed company.
Proven experience building fully integrated three-statement financial models from scratch.
Strong background in KPI-driven forecasting and driver-based budgeting.
Deep understanding of balance sheet forecasting and cash flow modeling.
Experience presenting to executive leadership or board-level stakeholders.
Strong command of financial modeling best practices aligned with venture-backed expectations.
Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into clarity.
West Coast timezone preferred.
