Description

  • Configure, implement, monitor, and support security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, DLP, SIEM, EDR/XDR, email security, IAM, and vulnerability-management tools.
  • Perform risk analyses for corporate functional and technical areas related to data security.
  • Recommend, evaluate, plan, and implement new or enhanced security hardware, software, and tools.
  • Integrate security best practices into network, system, and project designs and implementations.
  • Identify and update security policies and procedures to mitigate risks, partnering with business units on improvements.
  • Facilitate penetration testing and participate in audits and compliance programs.
  • Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, breaches, and AI-environment risks, including MCP integrations and data loss in AI interactions.
  • Create and maintain security documentation, policies, procedures, service standards, and business-continuity measures.
  • Manage third-party security monitoring and tool providers and track security issues through remediation.
  • Provide off-hours support for information security incidents and issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of information security experience, including technology security concepts and project management.
  • Security certification such as CISSP, CCSE, AWS, or GIAC.
  • Deep knowledge of network security, including Check Point firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
  • Experience with AWS cloud security and cloud-native security tools.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving, planning, budgeting, presentation, and project-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and senior management.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
