Description

  • Design, build, and scale backend services in Go and TypeScript.
  • Develop and maintain secure, high-performance REST APIs integrating internal systems and third-party providers.
  • Build and operate event-driven architectures using AWS SNS and SQS.
  • Own backend components end to end, including development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Maintain code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Collaborate in an agile team, share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to recruiting efforts for the technology team.

Requirements

  • Several years of backend software development experience, ideally in e-commerce or logistics.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, high-performance backend systems in cloud environments.
  • Strong experience with Go and TypeScript, preferably both.
  • Experience with AWS SNS/SQS and modern cloud infrastructure, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and systems integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software design patterns.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and writing clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
  • Self-organized, proactive, and capable of taking end-to-end ownership.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a feedback-driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; monitoring and observability experience is preferred.
