Description

  • Lead and mentor the Data Analytics team by managing day-to-day work, setting goals, and conducting reviews.
  • Partner with senior management to identify innovative uses of data and support BI and analytics strategy.
  • Guide the design and implementation of data solutions using business intelligence tools.
  • Work with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to define metrics, reports, and analytics needs.
  • Design, architect, implement, and support datasets that provide timely access to business information.
  • Retrieve, analyze, and report on data using SQL and other data management and BI systems.
  • Develop queries for ad hoc requests, projects, and ongoing reporting.
  • Monitor existing metrics, analyze data, and answer key business questions.
  • Review analytics processes and documentation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with AWS cloud technologies and related tools and services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Data, BI, Analytics, or Reporting roles.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar team management role with a strong technical focus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative ability with experience supporting business cases and root-cause analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, including advanced SQL usage.
  • Experience with BI tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, QlikView, or Power BI, with QuickSight preferred.
  • Experience with data modelling and reporting.
  • Experience with warehousing, database optimizations, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with database engines such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud tools and services such as AWS Glue, QuickSight, Redshift, and S3.
  • Highly proficient spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication skills and a motivated, team-oriented mindset.
