Description

  • Deliver and exceed retail sales targets while improving brand ranking and market share.
  • Monitor weekly sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies by door, district, and market.
  • Execute brand and retailer promotional calendars at the market and store level.
  • Build and manage team visit calendars focused on top doors and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with store and retailer teams in person to improve customer experience and drive sell-through.
  • Build relationships with retail leadership, selling staff, and brand partners to increase advocacy and visibility.
  • Conduct Brand Business Reviews with store and retailer leadership to align goals and strategies.
  • Lead brand education and sales training for store teams and field staff across the territory.
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and hold accountable a field team of Account Coordinators and Brand Specialists.
  • Plan and execute in-store events, activations, and merchandising efforts with operational excellence.
  • Manage territory operations, reporting, budgets, and follow-up on inventory and out-of-stock issues.
  • Travel throughout the Northeast market and support brand conferences and key events as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined education and sales experience in retail cosmetics or beauty.
  • Strong knowledge of sales influence, product education, events, and store operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving sell-through.
  • Experience executing in-store events, trainings, and retail marketing initiatives with consistent brand standards.
  • Strong understanding of Ulta policies, procedures, and culture, or the ability to quickly learn them.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Education, Marketing, Operations, and retail partners.
  • Highly organized with strong planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple markets and shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to work Tuesday-Saturday, be in store 4 days per week, and travel 50%+ including overnights.

  • Base salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year.
  • Annual performance bonus eligibility of up to 200% of target when company goals are exceeded.
