Description

  • Run full SEO audits for client websites, identify issues, build solutions, and track results.
  • Conduct keyword research and develop content strategies based on search intent, competition, and SERP behavior.
  • Implement on-page SEO improvements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and content optimization.
  • Handle technical SEO work such as site speed, schema markup, structured data, XML sitemaps, 301 redirects, crawl errors, and indexing issues.
  • Build and manage local SEO strategies, including Google Business Profile optimization, citation management, NAP consistency, and location pages.
  • Execute link-building campaigns through outreach, link auditing, and backlink acquisition.
  • Write or optimize SEO content for blog posts, landing pages, and service pages that rank and convert.
  • Use AI tools to improve SEO workflows, from content ideation and keyword clustering to technical audits.
  • Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions, and deliver clear performance reports to account managers.
  • Participate in client communication when needed and stay current on Google updates, AI search trends, and emerging SEO tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results in traffic growth, ranking improvements, or lead generation.
  • Strong technical SEO skills, including site speed, schema, crawl audits, indexing, and URL structure.
  • Proven on-page SEO experience with keyword optimization, content structure, meta tags, and internal linking.
  • Strong local SEO experience with Google Business Profile, citations, location pages, and map pack rankings.
  • Experience with link building, including outreach, link auditing, and acquiring quality backlinks.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Active use of AI-powered SEO tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to write or improve SEO content for blog posts, service pages, and landing pages.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge to make on-page changes, troubleshoot code issues, and work with developers.
  • Strong analytical thinking and clear English communication for reporting and collaboration.
  • Nice to have: agency experience managing multiple client accounts.
  • Nice to have: experience in home services or healthcare SEO.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, or WordPress development.
  • Nice to have: experience with heatmap tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.
  • Nice to have: CRO experience.
  • Nice to have: experience optimizing for AI/LLM search platforms such as Perplexity or SearchGPT.

  • Monday–Friday schedule, 9 AM–5 PM U.S. Central Time.
