Description

  • Lead international GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory tax provision work across multiple teams and with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and public company reporting requirements.
  • Oversee external consultants handling tax returns, R&D credit studies, foreign tax returns, Pillar 2, and transfer pricing compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage tax compliance audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Support tax projects including acquisitions, restructurings, tax planning, and legal entity assessments.
  • Monitor and analyze global tax legislation and assess its impact on the business.
  • Research international tax technical issues, with a primary focus on corporate tax and support for other tax matters as needed.
  • Mentor and train direct reports and other team members to build tax knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive project management, communications, and operational efforts within the tax function.
  • Help improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the global finance organization.

Requirements

  • Tax provision experience under US GAAP is required; IFRS experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing tax compliance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy is required.
  • CPA and/or MS in Tax is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience across both industry and large accounting firms working with global companies.
  • Experience with NetSuite, OneSource Tax Provision, and OneSource Uncertain Tax Position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and management skills with interest and experience in process improvement, automation, and efficiency.
  • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments and the ability to adapt quickly is a plus.
  • A sense of humor and ability to roll with the punches is a plus.

  • Base salary compensation with no variable compensation component.
  • Typical starting salary range of €68,600 to €108,400 EUR.
