Description

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned accounts and account managers in the territory.
  • Understand customer goals and explain how Elastic offerings address their business needs.
  • Build and maintain value-based relationships across customer organizations.
  • Support the full territory planning and execution cycle from discovery through technical win.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Elastic products and solutions and present their value in sales meetings, meetups, and conferences.
  • Advise the sales team on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services effectively.
  • Onboard, educate, and enable partners and support them throughout sales cycles.
  • Create collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with other team members to solve client needs.
  • Represent customer and community needs to engineering and leadership teams.
  • Continue developing sales and technical expertise through self-directed learning and company-provided development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Track record of success in a technical presales role.
  • Experience selling and implementing technology to earn customer trust.
  • Proven ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
  • History of successful customer relationships and solution-oriented architecture work.
  • Ability to influence teams and advocate for ideas, technologies, or architectural patterns.
  • Ability to inspire groups of varying sizes.
  • Willingness to travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
  • Continuous learner with a strong curiosity and passion for self-development.
  • Experience building architectures that help meet goals, solve problems, or outpace competitors (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary plus variable compensation in a 70/30 pay mix.
  • Typical starting salary range of $107,500 to $170,100 USD.
  • Typical starting target variable range of $46,000 to $72,800 USD.
  • Typical starting OTE range of $153,500 to $242,900 USD.
  • Eligibility to participate in Elastic's stock program.
  • Company-matched 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings.
