Description

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for assigned accounts and account managers in the territory.
  • Understand customer goals and objectives and explain how Elastic offerings address their needs.
  • Build and maintain value-based relationships across customer organizations.
  • Participate in territory planning and execution from initial discovery through technical win.
  • Maintain deep product and solution knowledge to present Elastic value in sales meetings, meetups, and conferences.
  • Advise the sales team on positioning Elastic products, solutions, and services effectively.
  • Onboard, educate, and enable partners while supporting them through sales cycles.
  • Create collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and community to engineering and leadership teams.
  • Continuously develop sales and technical skills through self-directed learning and company development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Track record of success in a technical presales role within enterprise accounts.
  • Experience selling and implementing technology, with the credibility to earn customer trust.
  • Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
  • History of successful customer relationship management and solution architecture to solve business problems.
  • Ability to influence teams and advocate for ideas, technologies, or architectural patterns.
  • Ability to inspire groups, both large and small.
  • Fluency in German is essential.
  • Willingness to travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
  • Preferred: passion for curiosity and continuous learning.
