Description

  • Develop and maintain the front-end stack from component design through deployment, shipping production code end to end.
  • Instrument and monitor client-side performance and backend observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and dashboards.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and other developers to build, test, and release features for elastic.co.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews with the team.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues across client and backend systems.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for an always-on service.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a frontend-focused role.
  • Strong TypeScript and React experience, including component architecture, performance, and state management.
  • Working proficiency in at least one of Node.js, Python, or Go.
  • Experience owning CI/CD pipelines end to end, including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
  • Experience with front-end build tooling, bundle optimization, and deployment automation.
  • Experience building for high availability, security, and scalability at production scale.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team.
  • Interest in CI/CD.
  • Experience without a dedicated ops team is preferred.
