Description

  • Work directly with enterprise customers, sales teams, and solution architects to gather requirements and prioritize product needs.
  • Build, socialize, and align the roadmap for core context engineering capabilities on top of Elastic-powered retrieval and relevance for AI agents.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the AI agent market, key players, trends, and strategic implications.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to define benchmarking and evaluation strategies for agent capabilities.
  • Collaborate with design to create user experiences that help agents show and refine context as they work.
  • Serve as the product expert for Agent Builder and evangelize its capabilities through blog posts, open source projects, and other content.
  • Work with AI partners, including cloud service providers and community developers, to support the ecosystem.
  • Lead vision, strategy, and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder product area.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, data-intensive products from inception through launch and iterative growth.
  • Deep technical understanding of AI/ML topics, including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and context engineering.
  • Comfort working closely with engineers and data scientists to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to move quickly, learn from experiments and tests, and use AI tools to accelerate work and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed organization, align stakeholders, and drive execution in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Passion for customer problems, industry trends, and building products that empower developers to innovate.
