Description

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer executives, technical leadership, and delivery teams.
  • Define the enterprise-wide strategy for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization across multiple years.
  • Establish and enforce global cloud governance frameworks, architectural standards, reference models, and reusable deployment patterns.
  • Drive advanced DevOps practices and accountability models across cloud engineering teams.
  • Oversee cloud cost optimization initiatives and implement technical guardrails to maximize ROI.
  • Architect and lead complex, large-scale cloud solutions on GCP, including GKE, Cloud Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Cloud Spanner.
  • Design integration patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud systems with secure, low-latency connectivity and consistent IAM.
  • Define the DevSecOps and cloud security posture to meet regulatory and global compliance requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies such as generative AI and serverless computing.
  • Architect a comprehensive observability strategy to monitor system health and resolve performance bottlenecks proactively.
  • Design automated governance guardrails so deployments are secure, compliant, and cost-optimized by default.
  • Mentor and coach Senior/Lead Cloud Engineers and support a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.
  • Own continuous improvement of the cloud architecture delivery pipeline, including GitOps and end-to-end automation.
  • Collaborate with Data & AI teams and Engineering Leads to align architecture with product roadmaps and business goals.
  • Author technical content and represent the company at conferences and meetups to elevate its engineering brand.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in cloud architecture leadership roles managing enterprise-scale transformations.
  • Mastery of GCP services, networking, and security as the primary platform.
  • Deep architectural experience with AWS or Azure, including services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and EKS.
  • Experience designing and implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform, including multi-cloud modules.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred.
  • Professional- or expert-level certification from the secondary cloud provider preferred, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide cloud governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-cloud interoperability patterns and hybrid cloud architecture.
  • Experience applying DevSecOps and advanced automation practices across the development lifecycle.
